Will students be compensated?
Participants receive an honorarium in recognition of their time and contribution, prorated by the stages they complete, up to a maximum of SGD 1,000. Transport reimbursement (up to SGD 30 per in-person session).

What are the requirements to be a youth ambassador?
We welcome a diverse group of students aged 13–19, from Secondary schools, Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, and equivalent institutions based in Singapore. There is no requirement for particular grades or a background in technology or design. Suitable candidates are simply students who: are willing to share their everyday experiences with digital technology, can engage thoughtfully in small-group discussion, and would enjoy a creative, collaborative role over several months.

What is the sign up procedure?
Simply fill out the attached form and wait for a response! Parental consent will be required for selected participants.

Is everything online?
Students will participate in a mix of online and in person events. Online activities include orientation and ad-hoc reflections, while in person activities include an onboarding session, panel discussion, individual reflection activities, 3 monthly meetings, a co-design workshop, and an optional public exhibition.

How much time will this take?
The program spans four stages over approximately one academic year, while activities are designed to be low-burden and flexible. Students are encouraged to take part in small activities (~10mins) a few times a week, but are not expected to complete everything or track every moment. In-person events are scheduled around school breaks for minimal academic disruption.
